Angel Capalbo is the Vice President of Lending Systems and Technology. Prior to Springboard, Angel had been a consultant since 2001, working with organizations in developing, launching, and turning enterprise initiatives into desired business outcomes. Most recently, Angel was a consultant for Keep Your Home California, a $2 billion treasury Hardest Hit Fund program for California, and was a key leader in the design, development, implementation and management of their centralized operations/processing center which included a custom software application that supported the front-end call center and back-end operations workflow. The program has been very successful with a perfect audit trail from the US Treasury Department. Angel was also responsible for change management, training and quality assurance. This included conducting Joint Application Design sessions, creating workflow plans, developing and tracking data dictionaries, training materials, and migrating the team from a paper to paperless workflow.
With over 25 years of experience in front-end mortgage operations and back-end servicing at a national, regional and investor level, Angel’s strength is partnering with diverse levels of management to build people, processes and systems while maintaining quality services and executing sound decisions. With an extensive knowledge of residential real estate mortgage banking through retail, wholesale and secondary market channels, along with a diverse transferable skills set, Angel is able to assist organizations or small businesses with growth and success and is the link between implementing software solutions into business operations.
Angel studied Human Resources Management from the University of California, Irvine. Angel has attended numerous American Management Association seminars for training in project management and human resources management. Over her decades of experience in the industry, Angel has built a deep understanding of EllieMae’s Encompass360 and built multiple software systems from the ground up.
